Roxanne Nielsen, Administrative Support Manager

Roxanne Nielsen is the Administrative Support Manager for FadeUp Design Group. She specializes in client relations, inventory management, and office operations.

Roxanne began her career as a professional dancer and choreographer. In 1990, she became the Resident Choreographer and Director of Education and Outreach for the Omaha Community Playhouse.

There, she performed in shows, choreographed many of the musicals, and managed all the Playhouse’s educational programs, both on-site and in the community. When she left that position, she continued working as a freelance performer and choreographer.

In 2011, Roxanne accepted a position as Executive Director of The Artery (now called Arts in Motion), an Omaha-based non-profit that brings the international program, Dancing Classrooms, to area fifth- and eighth-graders.

As Executive Director, her duties included strategic planning, fundraising, and development. She also recruited and trained the “Teaching Artists” who worked directly with students.

In 2016, Roxanne went to work for one of Omaha’s premier event-planning companies. As the Events Team Manager, Roxanne worked on some of the region’s most prestigious events, including the Omaha Summer Arts Festival and the Night Market at Turner Park in Midtown Crossing.

Now, Roxanne works directly with FadeUp’s valued clients both in the office and on location, bringing her breadth of experience as an artist, project manager, and event coordinator to everything she does.
